Vita
I am currently pursuing my doctorate in Educational Leadership at Dallas Baptist University. Moreover, I am a 2004 graduate of Dallas Baptist University with a Master of Education and a 1999 graduate of Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Education.
Currently, I am an assistant principal at an elementary school in the Grand Prairie Independent School District. This is my first year as an administrator.
Previously, I worked at The Academy of Irving ISD where I taught world history and government. The Academy is an environment committed to the integration of technology and instruction, while focusing a variety of strategies that support our specialty programs.
I have also worked as a grant coordinator for the social studies department in the Fort Worth Independent School District. Then, my primary
function was management of a grant from the Department of Education aimed at fostering the development of teacher knowledge in United States History in grades 5, 8, and 11.
I also have previous adjunct experience teaching business classes during the summer of 2005 at Brown Mackie College in Fort Worth.
